A day in our Kindergarten Room…
A day in our kindergarten room, designed for children aged 4 to 6 years, is structured to enrich their learning journey while providing ample opportunities for play and exploration. Here’s how the day unfolds:
Breakfast
The day begins with a nutritious breakfast in our dining area, where children engage in early conversations and social interactions, setting a positive tone for the day.
Welcome
As children arrive, they’re warmly greeted by our educators, facilitating a smooth transition from home to the classroom and fostering a sense of belonging and community.
Parent Lounge
Parents are encouraged to utilise our lounge, designed for them to connect, exchange updates with our staff, or take a moment to observe their child settling into the day’s activities.
Activities
The morning may include extra-curricular activities such as music, art, physical education, or language lessons, enriching the standard curriculum and catering to diverse interests.
Morning Tea
A mid-morning snack provides children with the energy they need for the day, encouraging independence as they select their snacks and practice table manners.
Literacy & Numeracy
Dedicated literacy and numeracy sessions involve interactive games, storytelling, and practical activities, focusing on foundational skills in reading, writing, and math in an engaging, child-centered way.
Lunchtime
Lunch time is a communal experience, emphasising healthy eating habits and providing an opportunity for social interaction among children.
Relaxation & Mindfullness
Post-lunch, children participate in relaxation and mindfulness activities, such as guided meditation or yoga, helping them to refocus and prepare for the afternoon’s learning.
STEAM-Based Investigation Play
The afternoon features STEAM-based investigation play, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving through hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics activities.
Afternoon Tea
Children enjoy a light afternoon tea, refueling for the final part of the day and enjoying a moment of rest and refreshment.
Environmental Sustainability
Activities centered around environmental sustainability, such as recycling projects or gardening, teach children the importance of caring for our planet.
Free Play & Home Time
Late afternoon is reserved for free play, where children can choose their activities, exploring their interests and developing social skills as they interact with peers. This time allows for a gentle end to the day, with stories or individual play until parents arrive.

Our Nursery program is specifically designed to foster the curiosity of our youngest learners. We provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants, with a focus on building strong foundations for growth and development. Our experienced caregivers are dedicated to ensuring that each child receives the love, attention, and support they need.
2 – 3 years
We welcome the energetic and curious nature of toddlers. Our Toddler Room is thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique developmental needs of children aged 1 to 3 years old. With a blend of structured activities and guided exploration, our experienced educators provide a safe and engaging environment where toddlers can learn, play, and grow.
3 – 4 years
Our Pre-Kindergarten program is specially designed to prepare children aged 3 for the transition to kindergarten while fostering their natural curiosity through play based learning. With a focus on hands-on exploration, social-emotional development, and school readiness skills, our experienced educators provide a supportive environment where children can thrive.
4 – 6 years
At Kids Patrol, we prioritise foundational life skills in our Kindergarten and Pre-School curriculum, ensuring a smooth transition to school. Our Kindergarten journey celebrates each child’s individuality, fostering a love for self and learning through innovative play-based opportunities.
