At Kids Patrol our Creative Arts program is a vibrant and integral part of our curriculum, designed to ignite children’s imagination, creativity, and self-expression. A day in our Pre-Kindergarten Room…
In our pre-kindergarten room, each day is a blend of structured learning and free exploration, designed for children aged 3 to 4 years. Here’s how a typical day unfolds:
Breakfast
The day starts with a nutritious breakfast, providing a cozy setting for children to fuel up and chat with friends, fostering a sense of community from the moment they arrive.
Welcome
As children arrive, they’re greeted by our warm educators, easing the transition from home to classroom and setting a positive tone for the day.
Parent Lounge
Parents can use our lounge to connect, exchange quick updates with staff, or simply take a moment to observe their child settling in, making mornings smoother for everyone.
Activities
The morning may feature extra-curricular activities like music, physical education, or language classes, enriching the standard curriculum and sparking new interests.
Morning Tea
A mid-morning snack time offers a break for children to enjoy healthy snacks and hydrate, promoting independence as they manage their own food and utensils.
Literacy & Numeracy
Following snack time, focused sessions on literacy and numeracy engage children with fun, interactive games and activities. These are designed to build foundational skills in reading, writing, and math in an enjoyable, accessible way.
Lunchtime
Lunch is a communal affair, where children practice table manners and social skills, enjoying a balanced meal prepared to fuel their afternoon activities.
Relaxation & Mindfullness
Post-lunch, we dedicate time to relaxation and mindfulness activities, such as guided imagery or gentle yoga, helping children center themselves and digest not just their food but also their morning learning.
STEAM-Based Investigation Play
The afternoon brings STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) investigation play, where children engage in hands-on, exploratory learning projects that pique their curiosity and analytical thinking.
Afternoon Tea
A light afternoon tea provides another opportunity for a nutritious snack, keeping energy levels up for the rest of the day’s activities.
Environmental Sustainability
Activities focusing on environmental sustainability teach the importance of caring for our planet. Whether it’s through recycling, gardening, or conservation projects, children learn to appreciate and protect their environment.
Free Time & Home Time
As the day winds down, children engage in free play, where children can choose their activities, fostering creativity, decision-making, and social interactions with peers. This is a time for storytelling, drawing, or puzzles until they are picked up, rounding off a day full of learning and fun.

6 weeks – 1 year
Our Nursery program is specifically designed to foster the curiosity of our youngest learners. We provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants, with a focus on building strong foundations for growth and development. Our experienced caregivers are dedicated to ensuring that each child receives the love, attention, and support they need.
2 – 3 years
We welcome the energetic and curious nature of toddlers. Our Toddler Room is thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique developmental needs of children aged 1 to 3 years old. With a blend of structured activities and guided exploration, our experienced educators provide a safe and engaging environment where toddlers can learn, play, and grow.
3 – 4 years
Our Pre-Kindergarten program is specially designed to prepare children aged 3 for the transition to kindergarten while fostering their natural curiosity through play based learning. With a focus on hands-on exploration, social-emotional development, and school readiness skills, our experienced educators provide a supportive environment where children can thrive.
4 – 6 years
At Kids Patrol, we prioritise foundational life skills in our Kindergarten and Pre-School curriculum, ensuring a smooth transition to school. Our Kindergarten journey celebrates each child’s individuality, fostering a love for self and learning through innovative play-based opportunities.
